BPI just released its new proposed ANSI Energy Auditing Standard. Any last comments are due in seven days. I think in general it does a good job providing a framework for what an energy audit should consist of, while not being overly prescriptive and detailed, resulting in an audit that simply costs too much and takes to long to perform in the real world. To view the new Home Energy Auditing Standard, visit: Standards Under Review. To comment on the revised standard, follow the instructions under Standards Under Review - Submit Comments and Feedback and complete the Comment Form for BPI Standards.
